This course is designed for existing users of Microsoft Excel who are looking to build confidence and increase their skillset. We will cover data analysis tips such as sorting, filter, and autofill.
We will review basic formulas and calculations and introduce the concept of absolute references ($A$1) to see how this can help calculate percentages.
Great if you’ve got the basics covered but want to up your game. If you find yourself still breaking out the phone calculator because it is faster than working out the calculation in Excel, then this is the course for you.
You should be comfortable with the topics covered in our Excel Basics course such as entering and editing data, printing, basic formulas to calculate totals and basic formatting.
Expect to leave this course with a better understanding of Excel that will allow you to use it skilfully and analytically to manage data and glean insights. This course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to create and edit professional spreadsheets and prepare you for our Excel Timesaving Features course.
