About this Course

This course is designed for current users of PowerPoint who have already mastered the basics covered in our Power Point Creating Presentations course.

Our aim is to show you the way in which PowerPoint can create slides from files that have been created in other applications.

In this course we cover features such as:

  • Using Templates.
  • Bringing into a PowerPoint presentation, the files of other applications, such as those of Excel.
  • Creating WordArt, Organisational Charts and Tables on a PowerPoint slide.
  • Using Sound and Movies.
  • Creating links between a PowerPoint slide and files of other types using Action Buttons, Action Settings and Hyperlinks.
  • Other presentation enhancements such as Slide Show Navigation, Animation and Transitions.

It is important that you use your new skills as soon as possible on completion of this training course. We encourage you to take your own notes and to review this Course Guide once you are back at your workplace.

This course in conjunction with PowerPoint Creating Presentations covers the material examined in the MOS PowerPoint Expert exam.
